Balloon Sculpturing @ MBS Sky Park on 18th and 19th December 2010

18th December
The grand opening of skating rink at Marina Bay Sands Shoppe. =) To bring in the Christmas mood and also to draw crowd to the new playground, I did balloon sculpturing near the new food court at B2. The crowd was fantastic. My first few kids happened to be performing figure skating for the opening. Young aspiring kids who could be medal winners in time to come.

The queue was crazily long and it didn't stop till the performance started at 2pm. During the balloon sculpturing, it was mad speed for me. I just did the requests as fast as i could so that the kids do not have to wait too long. Happy to see their smiling faces before i said "Merry Christmas" and they went back in time to catch the action on the rink.

May i also comment that Michelle Kwan, the guest star for figure skating who has won numerous gold medals was fantastic! In fact i think fantastic is still an understatement. She's inspirational, even to a not-figure skater me. =)

Back at the skypark was a busy day too. There were so many kids wanting their balloons that when the first few formed a queue, everyone just followed, including grandpas and grandmas. They were such nice and understanding bunch of people. Though tiring but i were delighted to make their day.

19th December
Super tiring day... As expected, the skating rink was crowded. The moment I started with the balloons, the queue forms. Had a breather for a short 10 minutes when the performance started. After being approached by one kid, it was back to twisting again. As the group gets bigger, I brought them down to basement one and got them to queue in a straight line. It was flowers and guns and animals non-stop till 3.30pm. Phew! Thanks to the lady who was my last customer, i managed to finish about 3.30pm. She did a good job informing new people who joined the queue that she's the last person already.

At Skypark, I met some adorable kids. Those that dance to the music and enjoying themselves and the ones that you will be looking at and you will say "awww....". =P Met this parent from Penang asking me if balloonist travels around to other countries to work. I hope i get to do that soon. Haven't been to Penang yet. =)

The magnificent Michelle Kwan! =)

Christmas caroling for the holiday mood
Adorable baby who loves the red flower so much that she eventually broke it. =P

Balloon sculpturing @ Fernville Court, Seng Kang on 12th December 2010

Balloon sculpturing at MBS Skypark is a great training for stamina. This 3-hour gig was a breeze for me. Though the queue gets long sometimes, it wasn't tough to make the residents feel that the wait was worth it.  It was surprising for me in a way, the kids here likes green colour, even the girls! =)

All the kids who came got a one/two balloon creation from me. The parents and even some elder kids were appreciative of the speed of my balloon making. It was fast so they didn't have to wait too long before they get their hands on a balloon sculpture.

In my favourite costume at Fernville Court
Special thanks to Queenie. She had me doing balloons near the fan so that it won't be so warm for me. =) So thoughtful of her!

Balloon Sculpturing @ MBS Sky Park on 11th December 2010

This Elmo earrings reminded kids what balloons they want. LOL
Many parents requested for an Elmo balloon for their child when they saw this earring. I ended up fulfilling the requests of 3 parents. Mentioned to them that it's not the time and balloon used but more so that i do not want to disappoint other kids who probably likes Elmo too. There's just too many kids this December up on the 56th level to see the beautiful skyline of Singapore.

Apart from Elmo, i think i gave a few princesses to pretty little girls to make their day. Like the guests reminded me, they will remember Sky Park cause' of the beautiful balloons they got from me. =)

That's all. For now..

Standard Chartered Marathon 5th December 2010

Truly a fruitful experience for "ONE" Balloon Artist Bryan along with his 2 supporting Balloon Twisters Jocelyn and Nicholas as they spent the entire morning entertaining the crowd at Standard Chartered Marathon! While the daddies were out running, the mummies and children headed to the kids corner where they had their fair share of fun! Balloon twisting was an instant hit among the crowd and "ONE" Balloon Artist were often engaged with large groups of audience at any given time. To the surprise of many, "ONE" Balloon Artist Bryan even went on stage to conduct a Balloon Show giving prized sculptures away to 6 lucky children! Check out the photos!

Balloon sculpturing @ NUS 1st Dec

I was doing the balloon event @ NUS hall in the morning. It was for the
staff . All the adults turn into kids today. ;) I had many of them asking for balloons and flowers and bracelet were the most popular request . My presence was so popular that the event in charge had to extend my service time to have more people to have my balloon. It was like I had twist the most number and fastest balloon for all of them, I think I can beat the record. :)
